Terms of Endearment – Part 1

There are some terms that we use casually – have a nice day, hope you feel better soon, no your bum doesn’t look big in that.

There are other terms which are much more serious.  I love you.  I’ll always be here for you.  I do.

The most important terms, from a legal perspective, are your terms of business.  These can make the difference between the success and the failure of your company.  Without your Ts and Cs, how can you show what goods and services you are providing to your client and when, where and how you are going to get paid.  In the event of a dispute between you and your client, how will you prove what is rightfully yours?  If you have supplied goods that have not been paid for, how can you show that those goods still belong to you if they are on your client’s premises.

Given how important your business is, it must be important to do everything to protect your business, and having proper Ts and Cs are an ideal way to do this.
